Bruce High Quality Foundation is the official arbiter of the estate of Bruce High Quality, dedicated to the preservation of the legacy of the late social sculptor, Bruce High Quality. The Foundation’s self-proclaimed aspiration is to “invest the experience of public space with wonder, to resurrect art history from the bowels of despair, and to impregnate the institutions of art with the joy of man’s desiring.” Their wide-reaching artist-participant annual show, the Brucennial, ran from 2008 until 2015. In 2009, they founded BHQF, a free art school based on the ideology that art begins and expands in the studio and amongst artists. The Bruce High Quality Foundation has been included in exhibitions at MoMA PS1, New York; The Whitney Museum of American Art, New York; Acquavella Galleries, New York; the Brooklyn Museum, New York; Vito Schnabel, New York; and Galerie Bruno Bischofberger, Zurich, among others.
